It's been while my page view surpassed 6000!
I wanted to say thank you very much
for your support and interests.

As I wrote looooong time ago,
I went back to Japan during March for 3 weeks.
During the stay mainly in Tokyo where my family lives,
I took a trip to two distinct places:
'Hokkaido,' a big island in the north of Japan, and
'Okinawa,' islands in the south west of Japan.

Though the surface area of Japan is not that big,
it is a chain of islands streaching from north east to south west for 3000km in the shape of cresent.
So the geographical change is quite big, and
there are places from

'Hokkaido' in the north where -1ºC to 7ºC in March
(This place is like Canada or Estonia in Japan.)
to

'Okinawa' in the south west where 20ºC or so in the same month,
(This place is like some islands in Greeth in Mediterannean sea or some tropical islands)
as well as Metropolitan, Tokyo.

For those who might be interested in travelling to Japan from Europe,
'Finnair' sometimes has a good offer of return tickets to Japan for €500 or so,
which is half of price to fly to Japan.
Thanks to this offer, I could travel back home this March,
and one of my friend from Spain went to Japan last summer for this offer.

I start to hear fro around the glove that summer is comming to many places,

Just very quick entry.
I realized my last entry was ages ago.

Anyway, from this Friday(March 6) to March 29,
I will go back to Japan for holiday.

It's been ages since I went back home last time
(I wouldn't say how long 'cause I realized that many people around me are quite shocked to hear the number...).

I just wanted to say
thank you for your supports and interests
that encouraged and brought me up to now.

I hope I could take some good scenic and artistic photos to post here later on.

Dear Lads and Gents,

I've returned from my vacation to the Baltic States last weekend.
The trip was fantastic in many sense,

I started with Vilnius, Lithuania, which is beautiful. The weather was wonderful while I was staying there.


I loved 'Trakai' castle, 30km away from Vilnius. It's really like a castle of fantasy that is located in a small island surrounded by lakes. According to the guide, there have been some movies that were shot in the castle, such as 'Robinfood' and another famous movie which I forgot

(I must thank my Lithuanian friend who told me that this castle is closer to Vilnius while I thought it's close to Kaunas. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to visit this beautiful place.)

In Kaunas, another major city in Lithuania, I visited
'>The museum of Devils'
There are hundreds of sculptures and figures of devils all over the world. I even found some Japanese one.

Riga, Lativa is also beautiful. Especially, the buildings in 'old town' look 'brand-new.'

Last but not least, I met my dear Estonian friends in Tartu and Tallinn who showed me around their city, I cooked some Japanese food .
The birthday of was so much fun, also with comming from Tallinn.
I appreciate her hospitality. Aitäh(Thank you)!
(I went to eat 'Georgian food' for the first time in my life there. yum, yum, )

A couple things I found interesting in Tartu.
A tree with an eye...it's quite creepy...
<--My favorite mobile bookstore in Tartu. I wish it comes to my apartment every weekend...

Finally in Tallinn where I had only one day.
Another friend of mine showed me the old part of city, which I'm thankful about.

I have been planning and waiting for this trip since February...ahhh...it's been so long.

Recently, the original work of
(oil on canvas 45cm X 38cm (18" X 14"), completed in 2001)

was sold to a gentleman somewhere in Australia.

This was my first time ever to have my original work sold for someone!

Of course, I was happy, but meanwhile it was mixed feeling.
The moment before I shipped it,
I felt like a father whose beloved daughter is leaving home to get married.
(though I have never had this experience yet )
Hope she will get along with the new owener in new place.

Anyhoo, this was my official debut as a painter.
