The lake of Tranquility

A Lake that you cannot find on the map, deep in the forest.
Or it's the place where you can only reach through your heart.

Completed in 1996 on canvas.

I should confess that I got an inspiration of this work from a video game, 'Final Fantasy VI.' This lake is supposed to heal the wound and fatigue of travelers.
